JD Power and Associates Rate Nikon SLR Cameras as the Top Models
For the second year in a row, The Nikon D Series of Digital SLR Cameras ranks "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Digital SLR cameras" This is according to the latest J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Digital Camera Usage and Satisfaction Study(SM).
On a 1,000-point scale, the Nikon's D Series of DSLR cameras scored 823 points. This makes Nikon among the highest-ranked of any product in the D-SLR camera category. The Nikon D Series, which did rank in a tie this year, performed very well with all consumers in the areas of ease of operation, performance, appearance and also styling.
Nikon's highly rated and popular D Series of digital SLR cameras include such models as the cheap Nikon D40x, the inexpensive/cheap Nikon D60 and the newest model, the Nikon D90 which is the world's first D-SLR that comes with HD Movie recording capabilities. Both professional enthusiasts and photographers have come to rely on the Nikon series of SLR models such as the D3, D300, and the recently introduced D700 digital SLR cameras due to their unbelievable image quality and dependability.
Nikon has said that it is Nikon's goal to provide the best photographic experience to all consumers, whether the consumer is a seasoned professional photographer, first-time D-SLR user looking for a cheap DSLR camera, or a passionate enthusiast.
